Homemade Hot Chocolate
1/2 cup castor sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
85 grams semi or bittersweet chocolate, roughly chopped
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
Combine all the ingredients together in a food processor and blend until powdery. Keep mixture in an airtight container at room temperature.
Heat one cup of milk (of your choice, coconut, almond etc) in a milk pan over a medium heat until steamy, add three tablespoons of your hot chocolate mix, whisk over heat for another minute or two, until mixture is dissolved. Pour into your enamel tumblers and top with extra grated chocolate.
